What we can provide schools with

As mentioned in our mission statement, the Foundation wants to bring chess to as many schools in Europe as possible. We want as many schools as possible to make a start with promoting, introducing and implementing a chess curriculum in the classroom. Therefor we will support schools by providing them guidance and councel in deciding on a chess learning program, provide communication materials to promote chess, provide contacts of chess teachers in your region, provide chess materials (in a reasonable way) and convey research about the effect of chess in schools.
We already get quite some requests which is a good sign. But it also means that we can not address all requests at once. We’re only just begining with the Foundation’s activities and we are still working hard on putting everything together – this should however not stop you from applying for support for your school. We will get back to you. In the coming months we will continue to add support material. We will let this know via our e-newsletter. Subscribe for our newsletter here.
